Gold card configuration
The cards are sent out with the split solder pad on reverse of board with a link/solder across it. This will make them ordinary gold cards with the ability to code protect the pic deviceThis should be good enough for most, but if they need eeprom protection aswell, the jumper protection is as follows:


Jumper configuration:
1. Desolder/cut the link accross the split pad.
2. Get a three pin header and solder it into position.
3. Call the pin next to the "P" on the board pin1, then pin 2 then the pin nearest the edge of the card is pin 3
4. When programming the card, place a jumper between pins 2 and 3. (The two nearest the edge of the board)
5. Once the card is programmed, to protect the eeprom, place a jumper between pins 1 and 2. (Nearest the "P" - Protection)
